A New Way - Gelatine Species Determination

ABOUT THIS WEBINAR

Accurate labelling is a key topic, which affects food and beverage manufacturing all the way to the consumer. Food fraud is a growing concern amongst consumers for reasons including safety, quality and traceability. Add to this the greater demand for clearer labelling underpinned with ethical responsibility, and this remains a substantial task that is of utmost importance to ensure consumer trust in the food industry is maintained. In this webinar, Helen Grundy an expert in her field of proteomics methods for determining the animal origin of gelatine in food will be held on TBC, and it looks to be an exciting insight into the field of Gelatine Speciation. Our moderator for this webinar will be Barry Hilton, Business Development Manager - Food, here at Fera Science Ltd.

This new and exciting service is now available to ID the animal origin of gelatine and gelatine mixtures. GelSpec is more reliable and sensitive that current published methods.
