Places are still available for November 2016 PTs - SO DON'T MISS OUT!

There is still time to join our 2016 Proficiency Testing Schemes (PT), vital when you want to demonstrate your competence through formal compliance with a set of internationally-recognised requirements. The purpose of proficiency testing is to assess performance of your laboratories for their conduct of specific test, measurements or calibrations. Many laboratories operate in isolation from other laboratories and do not have on-going opportunities to compare their data with others. Without such opportunities there are risks that a laboratory's data may have errors, biases or significant differences compared to similar laboratories.

What makes us different?

We use a consensus of results which we term the 'robust mean'. This means we use scientific intelligence & interpretation together with a formulatic approach. So we evaluate what the correct result should be whether the mean, median or mode is applicable. We also use an accredited lab as a control together with historic trend analysis data collected over a significant time period to refer to. The significance of this level of expertise and added value brought to proficiency testing is highlighted in a recent white paper published on Vitamin B2.
