  • International PlantLibra Conference, 12-14 May 2014, Vienna, Austria (opens in new window)
    In a complex environment of pending health claims, fragmented harmonisation in plants used for botanicals within Europe, and emerging issues of quality and safety, the PlantLIBRA project invites to its final conference in Vienna from 12 to 14 May 2014. It will feature the latest advances in botanical science, and in benefit and risk assessment of plants food supplements (PFS).
  • The 15th Joint Fera JIFSAN Symposium, 9-11 June 2014, York, UK
    The chosen theme for the 2014 event, 'Emerging Issues in Food', will cover the latest and potential challenges threatening the safety, sustainability and integrity of the supply chain. The organising committee of the 15th Annual Fera/JIFSAN Symposium is preparing an extensive symposium programme featuring insightful keynote speakers.
  • The 7th Meeting of the Global Microbial Identifier, 11-12 September 2014, York, UK
    The seventh in a series of plenary meetings of the Global Microbial Identifier initiative, organised by The Food and Environment Research Agency (Fera), UK, on behalf of the Food Standards Agency (FSA), UK. Featuring presentations from international expert speakers and participation in workgroup discussion.
