Fera's fixed wing UAV is ideally suited to collecting imagery data over quarries and open cast mining sites.

Its aerodynamic design means it is able to fly faster and for longer than rotary UAVs whilst being able to collect high resolution (2.5-5 cm) aerial imagery, ideal for assessing on the ground conditions and monitoring change.

Fera's UAV, GIS and Remote Sensing Specialists have the skills and knowledge to analyse and interpret satellite and UAV imagery, allowing us to produce actionable data that can inform management decisions.

  • XYZ accuracy - directly comparable to GPS device used for ground control - project dependent. Usually only 10 GPS ground control points required per survey
